Name Game…

After about a month of dating, Josh asked me to pronounce his last name. Confused about why he would ask that, but boasting 100% confidence I responded “Brew-Folt”. Beeeeeep, wrong.

I had failed to notice that the ‘L’ is for some reason before the ‘O’, but I was quite confident that the ‘L’ was just really confused about where it was suppose to reside. I quickly informed him that his name sounded like a typo.

In the wake of being freshly wed (and as expected) we have been asked repeatedly about the pronunciation of our new last name. The easiest way to explain it is to pretend like the ‘D’ isn’t even there {Brew-Flott}.
