My name is Dani and I am the girl behind Life’s a Journal. I have a full-time gig working from home as an information & social media manager for a publishing company. In my spare moments I love to write, design, read and collaborate with other creative individuals. You will find my daily ramblings here at Life’s a Journal, and my daily pages and other products in my Etsy Shop. I also moonlight as a contributing writer over at Beauty Bets, where you’ll find me chatting about my love for Bare Escentuals. In 2010 I was honored to spend a year capturing the wedding planning process through a blog for Minneapolis-St.Paul Magazine.
I was born and raised in rural southeastern Minnesota, attended college in Iowa, spent a few years living in Minneapolis and recently relocated to Madison, Wi, with my husband, Josh.

Too bad I didn’t keep it all because now I’m buying it again and spending twice as much as I did the first time! You’ve got great style and your zest for life shines through your writing. In case you’re wondering how I got here, I’m a friend of Aly’s — she’s adorable, too, so it would make sense that you two are great friends.
I just read your whole blog and I love it! I think I would have been writing all the same things thirty years ago — of course, all the ‘vintage’ stuff would have been fairly new then.
I’m a fan and will certainly be a regular follower. Incidentally, I love all your fashion posts and if I were twenty years younger, I’d wear it all!
