This past weekend we were up on the Door County Peninsula surrounded by water. It would be an understatement to say that it put me in a somewhat nautical mood. To me, black and gold has always said formal…and usually cold-weather formal. But today I’m taking another look at it, and trying to find ways to freshen up this classic combination.
